BIDDEFORD – Patricia L. Kotlewski, 75, a longtime resident of Kennebunk passed away Tuesday, July 25, at Southern Maine Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born in Portland, the only daughter of Ruth A. Bowdoin and Vernon E. Littlefield.

Patricia attended Kennebunk schools. She graduated from West Hartford High School, in West Hartford, Conn., and went on to Skidmore College, where she met her husband, John. They resided in Burlington, Vt., where their three daughters were born. Moving back to Kennebunk, Pat joined The Littlefield Agency, her father’s real estate and insurance business.

Her life was characterized by public service and a professional career that spanned more than 35 years as a Realtor.

She was elected the first woman president of the York County Board of Realtors in 1975, and honored as Realtor of the Year in 1976.

After retirement, she loved playing more bridge and traveling to southern climes. Her final project was moving to her new home which she called the cottage. She infused it with colors as vivid and varied as everything that gave pleasure and meaning to her throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter Beth Ayotte and her husband, Marc, of Auburn; her daughter Ruth Ann Abrahamson and her husband, Bruce, of Rexford, N.Y.; a son-in-law, Robert Jackson of Atlanta, Ga.; and a beloved grandson, Samuel Danforth Moore of Gorham.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, John P. Kotlewski; and her daughter, Barbara Kotlewski Jackson.

Her family wishes to thank the entire staff at Southern Maine Medical Center.
