Stem cell selection would be from embryos which, if not selected, would be thrown away; if selected, would save lives. Their selection would not kill future lives.

If anyone thinks they would, it is like claiming every ovum that is ovulated and not fertilized has been killed.

If all ova were fertilized, the planet could not support that many humans.
