LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club has grown by four new members. Induction ceremonies were held on July 20 to welcome William Denehy, Thomas MacDonald, Christopher Rugullies and Michael Bilodeau into the club.
Denehy is senior vice president of retail banking at Androscoggin Bank in Lewiston. He lives with his wife, Pat, in Freeport and has two adult children. He was sponsored into the club by President Dennis Barriault.
Rejoining Rotary after a number of years, MacDonald is senior vice president, risk management officer for Mechanic Savings Bank in Auburn, and is past president of the Maine Chapter of the Risk Management Association. MacDonald lives in Scarborough with his wife, Joelle, and their two young children. He was sponsored by Tony Joaquin.
Rugullies is a portfolio loan officer at TD Banknorth in Auburn. He is an active volunteer with Kids Peace, Hope Haven Gospel Mission and the Chamber Young Professionals. Rugullies lives in Lisbon Falls with his wife and two young children. He was sponsored by Past President Paul Lacombe.
Bilodeau is an agent with Bilodeau Insurance Agency. In becoming a Rotarian, he is following in the footsteps of his father, Richard. Bilodeau lives in Lewiston with his wife, Jayne, and their three young children. He was sponsored by John Belisle.
The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club is dedicated to raising funds in order to benefit the community. Annually the club distributes six $1,000 scholarships to local students pursuing higher education and awards grants in varying amounts to nonprofit organizations.
