DIXFIELD – Award winning vocalist Elizabeth Decker of Lisbon will perform Friday evening, July 28, at the Countryfolk Music Theatre, backed by Blais & Bronish.

She will also perform during the gospel portion on Saturday.

Decker is the reigning DownEast Country Music Association Gospel, Bluegrass and Country Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year. She studied music in Boston and is an accomplished songwriter who won nationally in the Starbound Competition, the North America Country Music Associations International, the Country Music Organizations of America, and the Country Music Associations of America. She has also won at the regional level in the Jimmy Dean Country Showdown.

She is the granddaughter of musician Harold Dunham of Farmington, a member of the Pine Ridge Mountain Boys.

The weekend’s free music begins at 5 p.m. Friday and continues through 6 p.m. Sunday at the theater on Route 2 in East Dixfield.
