Our family has had a wonderful experience at Greene Central School.

From the principal, who always has time to answer my continuous questions about full-day kindergarten and say “hello” to my pre-K child, to the great teachers who have worked with my children, a shy second-grader now coming out of his shell, to the third-grade teacher who keeps my smart, yet easily distracted child in line, to the volunteer coordinator who always has a minute to say “hi” to a lonely mom new to the area.

I think of Greene Central as a great school where everyone’s main concern is the students.

In response to Ms. Laliberte and Ms. Godfrey, it seems to me the school is addressing the problems. Actions have been taken, unacceptable behavior punished.

Please, don’t tell me you have complaints about the last week of school – even my behavior wasn’t that good that week.

All parents would like extra help and smaller classes for their children.

Budgets have to be set and stuck with. Test scores aren’t everything, but they are important.

Some children don’t know how to behave in school. My children usually do. They have their moments. Seeing children being disciplined for bad behavior reinforces the code of conduct I have, hopefully, instilled in my children.
