I moved out of state about 10 years ago. My family and I recently came back to Auburn on family business. I brought my two sons by Edward Little High School to show them where I went to high school.
What an embarrassment.
Why is ELHS’s appearance so bad? What is going on with the city of Auburn’s school system? The outside appearance of ELHS couldn’t be worse. The parking lot needs paving, the lawn needs mowing and the tennis courts look like something out of a war movie. The bell tower still has the same paint on it that my father donated back in 1986.
The appearance of Auburn’s high school is not normal. This is not what the taxpayers of Auburn should expect. I hope the old saying, “Perception is reality,” is not the case in Auburn.
How can downtown Auburn (around the Longley Bridge) look so good and the high school look so bad?
Auburn residents need to wake up. It is time to start paying attention to the school system.
I am wondering what the city’s elected officials are really doing for residents.
How can Poland Regional High School look so much better than ELHS?
