BANGOR – Kyle Bussiere had two hits and drove in four runs to lead Auburn Suburban to a 19-1 blowout over Sacopee Valley in the Maine Senior Little League Tournament.
Adam Lutz hit a single and two doubles, while Corey LaRue had a double and two RBIs. Devin Flynn scored four runs for ASLL. Auburn Suburban scored 10 runs in the first inning, finished with 10 stolen bases and took advantage of 11 Sacopee Valley errors.
Pat Netherott singled in Devin Pendexter for Sacopee Valley’s only run.
Ellsworth 11, ASLL 2
BANGOR – Ellsworth posted an 11-2 victory over Auburn Suburban in the Maine Junior Little League Tournament.
Tim Maines scored on a single by Kenzie Souders in the third and Matt Gordan doubled and scored in the sixth for Auburn Suburban’s only runs.
