LEWISTON – BT Pallet swept a doubleheader from Duhcharme Saturday. Pallet took the first game 22-9 as Bob Martin collected 4 hits, including 2 homers. Ron Tierney also ripped a round-tripper. Heath Crocker and Jamie King both belted 4 hits. . . Martin, King and Jesse St. Laurent all socked 4 hits as Pallet prevailed in the nightcap 25-9. Martin walloped another homer.
Gipper’s-White Rock continued its winning ways, first beating Ducharme Masonry 10-7 as Josh Breau went 3-3 with a homer. Ben Kelsey, Mike Gazza, Joe Hogan and Jesse Robitaille were repeat hitters. Carl Ouellette and Brian Ducharme, collected 3 hits each for the Masons. . . A key double by Rod McKenzie in the last of the eighth led to the winning run as Gipper’s-White Rock edged BT Pallet. Gazza smashed 2 homers and a double. Randy Dubay legged out a triple. Pallet’s big sticks were Bob Martin, Jesse St. Laurent and Ron Tierney. . . A shorthanded Gipper’s team rolled past Import Auto 25-13 as Rusty Teague clouted 2 homers, including a grand-slam. Gazza also swatted a homer. Dubay, Chip Doughty, Jeff Danse, Dan Martin and Teague all collected 5 hits. M. Conecelle, Ron and R. Dulac homered for the Automen.
