AUBURN – Dorothy “Dottie” F. Chamberlain, 82, of Clover Living Center and formerly of 37 Louise St., Auburn, and Town & Country Village in Lisbon died on Monday, July 31, at Androscoggin Hospice House surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Fayette on Feb. 28, 1924, the daughter of Kelsie and Clara (Mason) Fish.

She married Charles Chamberlain on Nov. 19, 1942. Together they rode all over the United States on their Harley.

She worked at Koss Shoe, and also did CNA work at St. Mary’s Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, Charles W. (Billy), Virgil (Pete) and Kelsie Chamberlain; as well as daughters, Cheryl Bachelder, Marilou (Lou) Chamberlain and Mylinda (Myndi) Frechette; 25 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kelsie L. Fish of Millinocket.

She was predeceased by three sons, Brian, Robin, and Dana; and a sister, Priscilla Holman.
