DIXFIELD – Funeral services for Reginald Palmer of Rumford, were held Friday, July 27, at the Riverside Cemetery, Dixfield, with brother-in-law, the Rev. Roland V. Anderson of Cleveland, Ohio officiating. Members of the Frank L. Mitchell VFW Post 3335, the Lane Dube AMVETS Post 33, both of Jay, the American Legion Post 10 of Livermore Falls and the Sons of AMVETS Squadron 33, performed military honors. The Firing Squad members were Richard Dupont, Cpt.; Richard Moreau, David O. Smith, Robert Roy, Robert Welch and Ted Soucy. The Color Guard Members were Greg McDonald, Gerald Toothaker, Cleon Cook and Mike Simoneau. The flag was presented to his daughter by Don LeSuer. Taps were played by Richard Dupont. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center.
