SABATTUS – The town office, public works department and transfer station will be closed for a few hours on Wednesday, Aug. 16, for the town’s annual staff picnic.

The picnic will take place between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The town building, transfer station and public works department will hold normal operations and business hours before and after the staff outing.

In addition to schedule changes, the code enforcement office will operate on a different day next week. Code Enforcement Officer Richard Behr will be in the office Monday, Aug. 7.
