Dear Sun Spots: On Nov. 11, the St. Athanasius & St. John Youth Ministry will sponsor a Scrapbooking Day at the Eagles Hall in Rumford from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are hoping some of your readers out there will be willing to go through their scrapbooking and stamping supplies that they no longer want, or need, and donate them to us for our craft and project ideas.

We are also looking for people to come and share their products and ideas with us. If you are a consultant and would be willing to share your time with us, please let us know.

Please mark your calendars for Nov. 11, 2006. We hope to see you there.

Thank you in advance. Please call Lisa Barrieau at 364-7817, Elaine Palmer at 364-4696 or Trinket Fergola at 364-8255. – L. Barrieau, Rumford.

Dear Sun Spots: My family, especially sons who now live out of state, have, from the beginning of his boxing career, been devoted followers and admirers of Joey Gamache. Any current information would be much appreciated. Your devotion to ferreting answers to many of our questions is wonderful. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
Sun Spots checked in with the sports department, which had no updates. You might try contacting Gamache at: Joe Gamache, c/o Gamache Boxing Club, 65 Central Ave., Lewiston, ME 04240, the last known address Sun Spots had for corresponding with him.

Dear Sun Spots: I have a request for a friend of mine that is deaf. She is also married to a man who is blind as well as deaf so this request would really be appreciated. My friend was shaving her legs and cut herself by accident. She takes blood thinners, so, as you can imagine, she had to seek emergency treatment. My wish is that someone out there has an electric razor that they are no longer using and would be kind enough to donate it to this wonderful friend of mine. I can be reached at 786-7058. Thank you. – Anne Boisvert, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I have a boat trailer which looks antique. It says ACME 100, Kansas City, MO. on the frame. Does anyone know its value or have more information about the manufacturer? I can be reached at 268-3721. – Robert Turcotte, Litchfield.
