AUBURN – Serge C. Thibodeau, 57, of Gary Street, Oxford died Thursday, Aug. 3, at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice after a brief illness.

He was born in St. George de Beauce, P.Q., Canada, on Oct. 19, 1948, a son of Raoul and Irene (Lachance) Thibaudeau.

He had been employed by Dennis Cellamare Dry Wall for 20 years. He was a former member of the Augusta Eagles, Aerie 3137.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanita M. (Arbour) Thibodeau of Oxford; two sons, Davey L. Thibodeau and his wife, Heather, of Norway and Bobby Thibodeau and his wife, Kristina, of Lewiston; his mother, Irene Lachance of St. George, Canada; five brothers, Jean Yves Thibaudeau and his wife, Charlotte, Rene Thibaudeau, Alain Thibaudeau and his wife Sylvie, Daniel Thibaudeau and his wife, Solange and Maxim Thibaudeau and his wife, Micheline, all of St. George, Canada; a sister, Doris Thibaudeau of St. George, Canada; six grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Elizabeth, Katie, Joseph and Jacob; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, Raoul Thibaudeau.
