Rebate help
LEWISTON – The Maine Tax and Rent Refund program provides rebates to homeowners and renters who qualify beginning in August. SeniorsPlus staff and volunteers are available to answer questions about eligibility and provide seniors with assistance in completing the paperwork necessary to receive a refund.
SeniorsPlus staff and volunteers will be at the various locations in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties to assist seniors who need help obtaining information and/or completing forms. SeniorsPlus is also taking appointments in the Lewiston office.
Appointments are necessary to ensure sufficient time is allotted for all those who need help. To make an appointment or for more information, call 1-800-427-1241 or 795-4010.
