LEWISTON – Larry and Connie Dudzic of Lewiston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 2 at the home of Thomas Coady, who was a lifelong Lewiston resident, now living on Embden Lake in Embden.

The two men have known each other since grade school, and the families wanted to get together for this special day.

Lobsters were enjoyed by everyone and the extended Coady family provided a memorable celebration.

Mr. Dudzic is retired after 30 years with New England Telephone and Telegraph.

Mrs. Dudzic worked for the public health nursing field for several years. She was employed by the City of Lewiston Health Department as a school nurse, was executive secretary of the TB and Lung Association, health officer for the city of Auburn, and taught CNA courses. In later years she worked as a private duty nurse.
