LEWISTON – Gregory and Cynthia Wintle of Portland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Wintle of Portland, to Joshua Gagnon of Sanford, son of Carl and Jody Gagnon of Sanford.

Miss Wintle is a 2002 graduate of Deering High School and attends the University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in special education.

Mr. Gagnon is a 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. He is a social studies teacher at R.W. Traip Academy in Kittery.

A June 30 wedding is planned at the Wilde Memorial Chapel in Portland, with a reception to follow at the Italian Heritage Center.
