RICHARDSONTOWN TWP. – Glenn R. Fyrberg, 53, of Farmershill Road, East Andover, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, Aug. 6.

He was born in Ipswich, Mass., on Feb. 15, 1953, a son of Roland C. and Judith A. (Kent) Fyrberg.

Glenn was educated in Massachusetts and Bethel schools.

He loved the wilderness and was a registered Maine guide for many years. He later was a self-employed logger until his recent illness prevented him from being in the woods.

Glenn loved fishing and camping, and at the time of his death he was with his brother, Steve,camping at Richardson Lake.

He loved spending time with his family and being at peace at home.

Glenn was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild in October.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lana (Nevel) Fyrberg; his mother, Judith A. Fyrberg of Andover; three daughters, Jennifer Fyrberg and companion, Jayson Hebert, of Gray, Jillian M. Fyrberg of Andover, and Jasmine A. Fyrberg of Andover; a sister, Heidi Bean and husband, Mike, of Milton Township; a brother, Stephen Fyrberg of Andover; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Roland Fyrberg; a brother, Clay Fyrberg; and his beloved dog, Misty.
