NORWAY – Barbara A. Allen has been appointed director of development and community relations for Stephens Community Healthcare Foundation and as a member of the senior management team. She will be responsible for providing leadership in development and community relations initiatives.

Allen has been director of medical affairs and executive assistant to the president. Prior to her arrival at WMH, she worked at Oxford Homes Inc.

She received a her associates degree in management from St. Joseph’s College in Standish.

Allen will assume responsibilities for fundraising activities, including the hospital annual fund, the development of a planned giving program and the solicitation of corporate and capital gifts, as well as involvement in community relations activities.

She resides in Waterford with her husband.
