AUBURN – Robert C. Brett, 46, of 232 Lake St., died Sunday, Aug. 6, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Milford, Mass., on October 27, 1959, the son of Robert W. and Muriel Brett.

He grew up and attended schools in Framingham, Mass., prior to moving to this area in 2001. Prior to his illness, he worked for Eagle Environmental Co. in Westford, Mass.

He was a devoted father and enjoyed spending time with his children, and also his nieces and nephews. He was an avid Harley enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (Pendexter) Brett, whom he married on May 20, 1988, and with whom he renewed vows on April 1, 1991; his children, Sasha Brett and Robert W. Brett II of Auburn; his mother of Tallahassee, Fla.; his mother-in-law, Mary Pendexter of Warwick, R.I.; his father-in-law, John Pendexter of Moultonboro, N.H.; his sisters, Ann Marie Smith of Medway, Mass. and Debra Nimis of Tallahassee, Fla; his brothers, Brian of Tallahassee, Fla. and Kevin of Laconia, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his father.
