OXFORD – Grace Fellowship Church has invited area children to a vacation Bible school “Fiesta.”

“Our church is jumping with excitement as we plan for a Fiesta Bible School,” said Pastor Lloyd Waterhouse. “Our Fiesta program will provide fun and Bible-learning activities. Each day the kids will sing catchy songs, play games, collect Bible Memory Buddies, have Chadder Chipmunk Theater time, craft projects and snack time. We’re thankful to have so many people step up and volunteer to bring our first Bible school to fruition,” he said.

The Bible school will take place at the Grace Fellowship Church from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 14 to 18, for children ages 3 to 12. Parents are welcome to stay with their children during the school.

There will be a closing program at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at the church. Parents and friends can hear the children sing, tell some of the things they did that week and share the experiences they had. Refreshments will follow the program.

The church is located on Poplar Street, off Aspen Avenue. For more information or to arrange for a ride, call Waterhouse at 674-2733, Assistant Pastor Dick Parsons at 539-9064, or Fiesta Bible School Director Jo Bradeen at 784-7224.
