RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Clifford E. Marquis was celebrated Wednesday at St. Athanasius & St. John Catholic Church.

The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. Mark Belanger was the organist. Special music selections were “Ave Maria,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Let There Be Peace On Earth,” and Taps.

Readings were done by his sons, Neil and David Marquis. The eulogy was offered by his son, Neil Marquis. Pallbearers were Neil, David, and Ian Marquis, Rick, Bryan and Larry Eastman.

Interment with Military Honors followed in St. John Cemetery, with committal prayers offered by Deacon Rod Berger.

A reception followed in the parish hall. Relatives and friends may pay tribute to Clifford at www.mem.com. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.
