BETHLEHEM, N.H. (AP) – The state Labor Department has ordered the town to move its offices because of a potential carbon monoxide risk from the fire department with which it shares space.
The department says workers on the building’s ground floor are too close to fire equipment in the parking lot that’s posing the threat.
Selectmen recently voted to move the town clerk’s office to a trailer across the street.
Officials have until September to respond to the state’s order.
