FARMINGTON – A children’s musical drama, “Camp Kookawackawoods,” will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Sunday, Aug. 11 and 12, at the New Hope Baptist Church, 268 Perham St.
The production will include memorable songs, a fun storyline and some valuable lessons. The play is open to the public; admittance is free.
The cast will include Joshua Bridges in the main character of Tubby; Jonathan Rebert, String Bean; Peter Ambler, Captain Patch; Kirk Doyle, Sarge; Marissa Yates, Sarge’s mother, Calamine; Sue Jones, Who Flung Chow; Magen Howell, Sissy; Abby Howell, Luna Tick; and Brian Rebert, Uncle Mac; plus campers, Cherish Bridges, Caleb Bridges, Destiny Decker, Haven Doyle, Lydia Doyle, Brittany Edes, Erin Johnson, Jessie Johnson, Seth Johnson, Isabella Navarro, Janna Winslow, Jared Winslow, Kamrin Yates, Keirra Yates and Madison Yates.
The children’s choir will be under the direction of JoAnne Doyle; the drama directed by Sandi Rebert. The cast and choir, have been practicing since January. For more information or a ride, call 778-9696.
