LEWISTON – Rolande P. Theriault, 85, of 7 Frechette St., died Thursday, Aug. 10, at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born at St. Hilaire, Canada, the daughter of Prudent and Alma Sirois Pelletier.

She married William Theriault in 1947. He died Dec. 7, 2000.

She worked at Raytheon, Bates Mill and Dori Shoe. She was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Cross Parish and belonged to the Holy Cross Seniors. She was an avid knitter and loved to spend time with friends, especially at Tim Hortons.

She is survived by a son, Norman and his wife, Ginette Theriault; a daughter, Janet Theriault; two grandchildren, Katie and Nathan, all of Lewiston; her siblings, Roland Pelletier, Cecile Martin, Alcide Pelletier and wife, Jeannine, Corinne and husband, Clarence Ouellette, Conrad Pelletier and wife, Yvonne, Cora Pelletier, Gaetane and husband, Gilles Nadeau, all of Canada, Therese Collin and Jeannine Dube of Connecticut, Anita and husband, Alfred Boucher, Lucien Pelletier and wife, Connie, and George Pelletier and wife, Helen, all of Lewiston; five godchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her siblings, Annette Pelletier, Celina Morneault, Lewis Pelletier, Aldeo Pelletier and Lorraine Nadeau; and many in-laws.
