TURNER – Plans are continuing for the Androscoggin Bassmasters Open Bass Tournament to be held on August 20. The event is set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Androscoggin River’s Gulf Island Pond in Turner.

Central headquarters will be at the Center Bridge Road State Launch in Turner. All boats should be in the water by the registration deadline of 7 a.m. D&D Donuts will serve breakfast sandwiches, donuts and coffee, as well as a lunch menu in the afternoon.

Entry fee is $125 per 2-person teams. Over $7,000 in prizes will be awarded.
