Tourneys scheduled

Two area golf tourneys are upcoming.

The third annual NewPage-Black Mountain of Maine Golf Tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 26 at the new Sunday River Golf Course. It’ll be an 18-hole scramble format with assorted contests. Registration will take place from 7:30-9 a.m. It’ll be a shotgun start at 9 o’clock. A reception and lunch is set for 2:00, with a putt-off and awards to follow.
