This is in response to the letter from Linda Blais on breast-feeding (Aug. 10).

It is splendid that a registered nurse wrote and explained why mammals have mammary glands. I feared that much of the population did not know, or had forgotten.

A wake-up call to all.

I would hope that the entire U.S. populace could see her letter.
