SPOKANE, Wash. – Louise Ann (Perry) Cyr, 74, of St. Michaels Road, died Saturday, Aug. 12, from complications of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at Holy Family Hospital.

She was born June 12, 1932, in Rumford, a daughter of Ernest and Louise (Walsh) Perry. A graduate of Stephens High School 1951. She married Albert (Porky) Cyr, on Nov. 27, 1952. A former resident of Rumford, she spent many happy years nurturing her family and creating a lovely and comfortable home. She and Albert settled in Spokane in 1991.

She was a loving and faithful wife, mother of eight, grandmother of 16 and a devout Catholic. She enjoyed traveling, antiquing, flower gardening and was an avid reader. She was a former member of several St. Michael Parish guilds as well as a volunteer reader and catechism instructor.

Survived by her husband of 54 years; sisters, Mabel Perry of Rumford and Mary Lobacz of Auburn; brother, Timothy Perry of Alamo, Calif.; Louise and Albert were blessed with seven sons and one daughter, Elizabeth Fuller and husband, Gene, of West Poland; sons, Kim and his wife, Melanie, of Rumford, Albert and his wife, Lois, of Falmouth, Paul and his wife, Rosie, of Colbert, Wash., Ernest and his wife, Catherine, of Spokane, Wash., the Rev. Father Adam Cyr of Seattle, Wash. and Jeremy Cyr of Portland; and 16 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Peter Cyr; sister, Ernestine Perry; and brothers, Vincent, Merle, Wilfred, Owen and Lloyd Perry.
