Friday was Players Day 2006 at Lost Valley in Auburn where three professional paintball players held a clinic for several dozen players in the arena. The tempo was relaxed during a day of fun competition and training. Today will be different, as teams compete for trophies and cash prizes. Professionals Bea Youngs, Mike Paxson and Rocky Cagnoni will be on hand to meet people and sign autographs. There is no charge for admission to watch Maine’s best teams compete. Gates open at 7 a.m.; captain’s meeting at 9 a.m.; games start at 9:30 a.m.
