DURHAM – A special town meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the fire station where voters will be asked to approve a three-year snowplowing contract with Larrabee Construction Inc. of Durham.

The contract will run from July 2006 through June 30, 2009, at a cost of $958,742. Terms of the contract call for payments to be made each year: $276,093 in the first year, $317,493 in the second year and $365,155 for final year.
