LEWISTON – The wedding of Cassandra Collette and John Violette was held at 4 p.m. on May 27 at the home of the parents of the bridegroom. Nichole Daignault, notary public, officiated at the outdoor ceremony.

Mrs. Violette is the daughter of Ted and Debbie Collette of Smithfield. Mr. Violette is the son of Robert and Lucille Violette of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line halter gown with beads and a train. She carried a bouquet of white roses.

Amanda Rose, aunt of the bride, was maid of honor, and junior bridesmaids were Katie and Kelly Rose, cousins of the bride. Catelyn Dufour, family friend of the bride, was flower girl.

Best friend of the bridegroom, Matt Daigle, was best man, and ring bearer was Joshua Theodore Violette, son of the couple.

A reception followed at the Fireside Inn and Suites in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to New Hampshire.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Buckfield High School and is currently attending Andover College for a degree in medical assisting. She is a stay-at-home mom for the couple’s son, Joshua.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Lewiston.
