ARUBA – The wedding of Danielle Grard and Joe Gauthier was held at 6:30 p.m. on June 28 at the Tamarijn Resort in Aruba.
Mrs. Gauthier is the daughter of David and Marian Grard of Lewiston. Mr. Gauthier is the son of Chris Gauthier of Oxford and Randy Gauthier of Leeds.
The bride wore a white, strapless, mermaid-style gown with organza train, shirred bodice and metallic embroidered lace appliqués. She carried a bouquet of white and red roses.
Paula Levesque was honor attendant and Jonathan Nagy was best man.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in literacy at Lesley University and is employed as a fifth-grade teacher at Lincoln School in Augusta. She is also a waitress at Bagels and Things in Auburn.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is a master plumber with Ranor Inc., mechanical contractor.
