LEWISTON – Lionel R. Morin, 77, of Greene, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston on Dec. 13, 1928, the son of Leon and Laura Carbonneau Morin. He was educated in Lewiston schools. On Aug. 27, 1949, he married Florette Lizotte.
He was past Gouverneur of the Morin Association of America.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years; three sons, Roland and wife, Mary Morin, of Cumberland, David and wife, Claire, of Lewiston, Mark and companion, Sharon, of Greene; a daughter, Linda and husband, Dan Darling, of Lewiston; six grandchildren, Stephen and Alison Darling, Andrea and Vanessa Morin, Katie and James Morin; three great-grandchildren, Adelle and Cadence Darling and Shadow Pendexter; a brother, Henri Morin and companion, Gertrude Bailey; many nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Dora Larochelle.
