AUBURN – A memorial Mass for Robert Drouin was held Tuesday at St. Louis Church. The Rev. Frank Murray celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. During the Mass readings were read by Robert’s granddaughter, Tina Anctil, the offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Victor Gagnon and words of remembrance were expressed at the conclusion of Mass by Robert’s grandson, Benjamin Drouin. After graveside committal prayers, the U.S. Air Force honor detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to Robert’s son, Gerard in honor of his father’s service to his country during World War II. A reception of fellowship followed the committal at the Drouin family home in Auburn. Arrangements by Pinette Funeral Home of Lewiston.
