AUBURN – A dinner discussion and presentation of the Small Property Owners of Auburn will examine the Auburn School District’s master plan and the Taxpayer Bill of Rights.

The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. at the Fireside Inn on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

The 500-member SPOA formed to watchdog Auburn city government and offer research and advice to elected officials. Ron Potvin, chairman of the group, said “our objective is to help the city run more efficiently and effectively; where the citizens of Auburn will benefit most.”

Auburn Superintendent Barbara Eretzian will present several options for the Auburn School Department’s master plan and will encourage audience input on the plan.

Bob Stone, founder of Common Sense for Taxpayers, will present the pros and cons of the TABOR initiative on the November ballot.

The cost for the dinner meeting is $25 per person; $45 per couple. Advance tickets are recommended, as space is limited.

Tickets can be purchased through Potvin at 777-1925, Dick Busierre at 783-1544, or any SPOA member.
