GREENE – Philip and Connie Mower of Greene celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 11 at the Sedgeley Place in Greene.

The couple was married on June 11, 1966, at Turner Village Church by the Rev. William Ricker.

Mr. Mower is employed at Fairpoint Communications in the Winthrop area and Mrs. Mower is employed at Tri-County Mental Health Services in Lewiston.

They have resided in Greene for nearly all of their 40 years. Many friends and relatives attended the event, and the couple received many lovely gifts. One special gift was a picture frame, signed by the guests.

Five of the six people in the original wedding party were present.

The party was arranged by their children, daughter, Melissa Pratt and her husband, Kenneth, daughter, Merrilee Rohman and her husband, Mark, and their son, Matthew, and his wife, Erin. Also attending were their four grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan Pratt, and Kelsey and Natalie Rohman.
