The AP article on Aug. 20 on page C2 about the best lobster roll in New England did not include the best one I have ever tasted.

I love lobster rolls and have eaten them at many of the places listed in the article. Luckily for Sun Journal readers, the very best lobster roll is right here in Auburn at Mac’s Seafood on Minot Avenue next to the new Gifford’s Ice Cream and down the road from Mac’s Grill.

Jim and Chuck (he trained at a culinary arts school) make absolutely delicious lobster rolls, delectable fried clams and fantastic fried haddock. I would be surprised if you found better seafood anywhere in New England!
