AUBURN – Alfred “Gregory” DeGregorio, 79, formerly of New Rochelle, N.Y. and Mt. Chase, died Aug. 24, after a long illness.

He was born July 28, 1927, in New Rochelle, N.Y., the son of Alfred and Edith (Paddock) Gregory.

He was in business with his father in New Rochelle. He married Antoinette Vitro (Polera) on May 22, 1949. He was predeceased by his wife in 1988.

He is survived by his brother, Robert of California; sister, Edith Decarmine of New York; children, Theresa Gregory of Lewiston, Marie Giglio of Auburn, Alfred Gregory III of Lewiston and Elizabeth Gregory of Winthrop; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
