WELD – Nancy Eileen Latham, 55, died unexpectedly early Saturday, Aug. 26, of natural causes at her home in Weld.

She was born Nov. 14, 1950, in Rumford, a daughter of John and Byrnece (MacIver) Tuttle. She received her education at Wilton Academy and graduated from the SAD 9 District in 1969.

On Oct. 24, 1970, she married David Latham at the Weld Congregational Church. She held a variety of jobs throughout the years and enjoyed her N-Joy Craft Shop in Weld that she owned for over the last eight years.

She was an animal lover and her hobbies included crafts, gardening, and traveling. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; she enjoyed spending quality time with her “boys,” her two grandsons, Aidan and Connor Latham.

She is survived by her husband of more than 35 years, David of Weld; one daughter, Jennifer Latham and her husband, Ben Hout, of Weld; one son, Jonathan M. Latham and his wife, Brandy, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; her stepmother, Joyce Tuttle of Nobleboro; two grandsons, Aidan and Connor Latham of Florida; one brother, Neil Tuttle of Jay; two stepbrothers, Stephen and Ronald Giles of Boothbay Harbor and Southport; two stepsisters, Debbie and Bonnie Giles of Portsmouth, N.H. and Nobleboro; several nieces and nephews.
