• A vehicle driven by John Ayotte, 71, of Lewiston, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Lucille Tetreault, 59, of Auburn, whose vehicle hit the back of a vehicle driven by Nimo Jama, 29, of Lewiston, while Tetreault and Jama were stopped in traffic at 3:12 p.m. Thursday on Center Street. Damage to Jama’s 1992 Honda was estimated at $2,000; to Tetreault’s 1997 Jeep, $5,000; to the 2001 Ford, driven by Ayotte and owned by United Ambulance of Lewiston, $2,000.
