LEWISTON – FISC announces two promotions to its senior management team. Jeffrey M. Grant and Melissa C. Pratt have been promoted to vice president of information technology and vice president of finance, respectively.

Grant joined FISC in July 2005, and has served as an effective leader and manager of the information technology department for the past year. Prior to joining FISC, he was employed at MBNA for six years, most recently as regional technical site manager. Previously, he worked for Northern Data Systems for 16 years.

Grant attended Westbrook College where he obtained a bachelor of arts degree in accounting. Additionally, he is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.

He lives in Norway with his wife and children.

Pratt has been employed at FISC for five years. Prior to FISC, she worked at Healthsource Maine for five years before it became Cigna Healthcare, where she continued to work for another three years.

While at FISC, Pratt has successfully built a strong accounting department, acting as manager of the department as well as controller for the company. She provides leadership to the operating departments on expense management and has successfully built strong relationships with the various management levels within FISC.

She has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Bentley College and an master’s degree in business administration from New Hampshire College, now called Southern New Hampshire University.

Pratt and her husband live in Greene with their two children.
