LEWISTON – Roland Dufour, 56, died Aug. 19, in Lewiston after a brief illness.

He was born in Frenchville, Jan. 10, 1950, the son of Wallace and Emelia (Lagasse) Dufour. He was a disabled Army veteran and member of the VFW of Lewiston.

He is survived by his mother, Emelia, of Frenchville; his daughter, Lisa Marie Dufour of Waterbury, Conn.; his special friend and fiancée, Barbara Bennet and her two sons, Rick and Michael of Poland; seven brothers, Gary of West Hartford, Conn., Vernon of Watertown, Conn., Norman and his wife, Mary, of Auburn, Ronald and his wife, Terry, of Terryville, Conn., Fernand and his wife, Rinette, of Farmington, Conn., Wilfred of Lewiston and Roger of Frenchville; and six sisters and their husbands, Marilyn and Donald Blais of Dover-Foxcroft, Carol and Robert Chamberlain, Linda and Roland Ayotte and Pauline and Reginald Guerrette, all of St. Agatha, Theresa and Philip Plourde of Southington, Conn., and Diane and George Dionne of Presque Isle.

He was predeceased by his father, Wallace Dufour.
