NEW GLOUCESTER – A group of juveniles was rounded up and questioned by police Wednesday afternoon after allegedly firing at a house on Penny Road with a pellet gun.

Nobody was hurt when shots were fired at the home about 1:30 p.m. Police were told that the suspects drove by the house in a pink car, fired shots and sped away.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputies were given a description of the vehicle and they located a group of young people shortly after.

Police said the group of kids knew who lived in the house that was fired upon. A sheriff’s dispatch supervisor said the suspects were being questioned about the shooting but would provide no further details about the incident.
