Shame, shame – the citizens of Poland are trying to pin the tail of the donkey. About $2.7 million vanished. Poof. The good old boys don’t want to know who or how.

So the selectmen think they can pull a razzle-dazzle this year and defer the cost until later, when the citizens will be napping again. Go back to sleep! Shut up and pay up. Sweep it under the rug.

I would like to know who caused this problem. And I would like to see that person or persons held accountable for the problem they caused.

I am glad to see that there are others in town who also care and want the state to step in and audit the town. Maybe then we could find out who is responsible so it would not happen again.

I was glad to sign the petition for a state audit. I hope other citizens will want to sign it also. Then maybe we will see who the culprit is.
