SAINT-HYACINTHE, QUEBEC – Sister Anna (Albina) Cte Ste-Fernande, 93, of the congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Saint-Hyacinthe, passed away on Sept. 3.
She was born in Manchester, N.H., on Dec. 24, 1912.
She entered the community on Feb. 2, 1935, and made profession on Aug. 18, 1937.
She served in Manchester, N.H., Berlin, N.H., and in Lewiston, where she served as councilor and secretary of the regional council.
She also served at the Mother House in Canada as an archivist for the community.
Surviving are a few nieces and nephews from the United States.
