William Printup, son of Daniel and Anne Printup of Poland, has recently attained the rank of Second Class Petty Officer. Printup is stationed aboard the naval ballistic submarine USS Maine, home ported in Bangor, Wash.

Printup was also recently named the Junior Sailor of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2006. Printup is a 2001 graduate of Poland Regional High School and joined the Navy in November of 2002.

Printup and his wife, the former Nicole Bissonnette, daughter of John and Diane Bissonnette of Poland, are living in Poulsbo, Wash.
