Auburn – Linwood L. Harvey Sr., 80, formerly of 275 A South Main St., New Auburn, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

He was born in Brownville, June 6, 1926, the son of Joel T. and Mae Clifford Harvey Sr. He moved to Auburn in 1942, and lived there all his life. He was employed for many years as a lineman for Central Maine Power Co., retiring in 1984. He was married Nov. 15, 1949, to Hazel Hosdon, who predeceased him Oct. 3, 1977. He was an avid fly-fisherman.

He is survived by a daughter, Diana Debose of Old Orchard Beach; two sons, Linwood Harvey Jr. and wife, Monique, of Lewiston and Lawrence Harvey and wife, Donna, of New Auburn; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, James Michael Harvey; two sisters, Marion and Evelyn; and two brothers, Joel T. Harvey Jr. and Floyd Harvey.
