BOSTON (AP) – The Boston Bruins have signed center Wacey Rabbit, who has played the last three seasons in the Western Hockey League, to a multi-year contract, general manager Peter Chiarelli announced Saturday.

Rabbit, 19, was selected 154th overall by the Bruins in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

He is in his second training camp with Boston. Last season, Rabbit, 5-9 and 169 pounds, scored 28 goals and 28 assists with the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL.

Terms of the contract weren’t disclosed.
