MONMOUTH – Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, is scheduled to be in town today to accept the Katahdin Award from the Maine Parks and Recreation Association for her support of Maine’s parks and recreational facilities.

The presentation is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Monmouth Middle School on Academy Street.
