LEWISTON – The Lewiston Recreation Department still has openings for gymnastics classes running through Oct. 24. Each class will run for seven weeks and is limited to 10 participants in Tiny Tots; 18 in Beginners I and II; and six in Intermediate/Advanced. The classes will be held at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St., with Dyane Jordan as coach.
Tiny Tots is for ages 3 to 5 from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays. The cost is $40 for residents; $50, for nonresidents. Beginner I is for ages 6 to 8 on Tuesdays from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Costs are as above. Beginner II is for ages 9 and up from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Tuesdays, with costs as above. Intermediate/Advanced classes, with prior approval of instructor required, will be held on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with the above-noted cost.
Team and PreTeam Levels 2 and 3 will meet from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at a cost of $60 for residents; $70 for nonresidents. Levels 4 and up will meet from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and 4 to 6 p.m. Thursdays. The cost for residents is $120; $130, for nonresidents. The costs are for the first seven weeks only; an additional fee will be charged for the remainder of the season.
